Marco is a full professor at Help University (ELM Graduate School), in charge of research on halal supply chain management and halal risk & reputation management. He teaches supply chain management for DBA and MBA courses. He is Research Fellow with University of Malaya Halal Research Centre, where he does research into halal purchasing. He is a member of the Senior Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Islamic Marketing (Emerald, UK) and an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Islamic Marketing and Branding (Inderscience Publishers, Switzerland).
He is a frequent speaker on Logistics and Supply Chain Management at forums and conferences in Asia and the Middle East. He writes in academic journals as well as professional magazines. He is the author of 'Halal Business Management: a Guide to Achieving Halal Excellence' (www.halalbusinessmanagement.com).
